At The Sewing Butterfly, every product is handmade with care and attention to detail.

We turn treasured clothing into lasting keepsakes, so your memories can always stay close.

How it works

  • Step 1:


    First, choose the clothing items you would like transformed into your special keepsake. Once you’re ready, place your order through our website and leave any special instructions at checkout.

  • Step 2:

    Carefully package your clothing items and pop them in the post to us. The address details will be included in your confirmation email. Please include a note inside your parcel with your name, order number, and any special requests or instructions.

    Local drop-off is also available if preferred.

    As soon as your parcel arrives safely with us, we’ll contact you to let you know it has been received.

  • Step 3:


    Once your items have arrived, within the current timeframe we will begin carefully designing and creating your chosen keepsake. If there is a particular way you would like certain clothing pieces or patterns positioned, simply include a note with your items and I will do my very best to accommodate your wishes.

  • Delivery

    Personalised keepsakes are sent via Royal Mail fully tracked 48hr service. Postal charges vary dependent upon order size. Collection is available from our South Norfolk base.

  • Returns

    Please be aware we are unable to take back keepsakes unless the product is faulty. If it arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible via the contact page.

  • Disclaimer

    Keep sake bears and animals are not toys. They are not CE Tested, as they are made from sentimental clothing. For decorative purposes only. Not suitable for children under 14 years of age.

  • Discounts

    Multiple orders - I do not offer discount as the bears take a significant amount of time to make and it is no quicker making mutliple.

  • Animal Clothing

    All clothing, including animal clothing, should be clean. All hair needs to be removed as I am unable to work with soiled items. Stains are perfectly acceptable.
